American Troops

I received an email today regarding our troops that are still fighting the war in Iraq. I feel so separate from what is going on over there and like I am not getting the whole story when I listen to the news. I hope that those valiant soles over there, sacrificing their lives for the betterment of mankind will be able to come home soon and live in peace! God only knows what they are going through on a daily basis!
Actually come to think of it we are probably pretty aware of what is going on over there thanks to Hollywood and TV. We know what war is and what it does to people. Look at our Vietnam Vets. The poor things came home so discombobulated and not to mention unwelcome by the citizens of this country. The vets are still trying to overcome all the trauma they experienced in that war. We must have allot of love and Patience to show these soldiers when they get home!

Isn't it time for everyone to lay down their weapons of war and have peace?
I am going to focus on peace blanketing the war in Iraq and healing taking place everywhere! I am also going to avoid violence in entertainment and all areas of my life! I think this aids in the creation of more and more violence! I do not watch the news anymore because of the extreme violence I hear and see! Most of the TV shows are all about violence. What is it with us as a whole? Can we just let it go and create harmony? That is what I am going to focus on is harmony in my life. Letting go of the negative emotions I hold. Every little bit counts. We are all connected and effected by each other! If I want peace for my children I must start with me. That is one very important thing we can do is start with our selves! Make a difference today by thinking joyful thoughts instead of mean, angry, hurtful ones! And when we want to wine about our lives think of our soldiers.
